The Pioneer Trails Board evaluated a number of strong candidates
for the Executive Director position, said Harland Mieser,
Chair of the PTRPC Board, And Randy impressed us both with
his extensive management and organizational experience and also
his strong interpersonal relations skills. He will represent us
well with our member communities and various state and federal partners.
Mr. White will transition into the Executive Director position over
the Fall with an official start date of January 3, 2008. During
this time, Doug Hermes will continue as Interim Executive Director
and will assist Mr. White in the transition. I am extremely
excited with this new challenge, said Mr. White. Working
for the PTRPC and its member communities will afford me the opportunity
to remain in the area that my wife and I call home and still work
in the public sector to help our region continue to grow and prosper.
I look forward to meeting with all the counties and cities to learn
how we might best be of assistance.
